The current owner, Brian Browning, unveiled a plaque in her honour in light of the fact she felt "unappreciated by her own town". Today the unique features of the interior are still in place along with some wonderful characters who frequent the pub on a daily basis.
The pint of Guinness is the main tipple and its said that no better pint can be had for miles around. Well worth a visit!
